On the mountain you will find 10 courses, 100 stations for climbing, 55 platforms for climbing and 2,800 climbing routes of all levels of difficulty. The culmination of hiking pleasure is the Carnic High Trail.
It runs along the state border with Italy and, with its traditional army buildings, provides an instructive glimpse into history.
You live in the middle of the largest ski area in Carinthia on the slopes: The ski arena Nassfeld offers 110 km of slopes and 30 modern lifts. From the Hotel Samerhof it is a 3-minute walk to the entrance to the gondola lift. The free “Samerhof ski depot” is located directly on the piste and can be used upon arrival.
You can conveniently store your ski equipment in your heated ski depot the entire time. Also with a few steps you can reach all shops and facilities of our ski resort Tröpolach in the center of Nassfeld. Weatherproof carports offer protection from all weather conditions directly on the Samerhof area.
